Life is a complex and requires effort. Sometimes, we feel exhausted from the struggles of life. We need to take a breath. How? By engaging in activities we love.
When we immerse ourselves in things like sports, music, science, art, or photography, we don’t feel tired—we find joy in life. Even if the work is demanding, we don’t perceive it as such. Of course, everyone’s interests and hobbies are different. Mine is photography.
In the past, I also loved creating paintings, drawings, and small figurines. I was (and still am) an unwavering admirer of Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo. However, since entering the Faculty of Fine Arts to study photography, my passion for art has become even more indispensable.
Photography and art are passions. Art is not just for a select few; it is for everyone. If we consider Karl Marx’s belief and statements that “When everyone engages with art (including workers and laborers), societal problems are resolved,” wouldn’t having art everywhere help not only resolve issues in societies but also bring us closer to solving global problems?
When you create art in any form—be it conceptual art, painting, sculpture, digital art, mime, performance, theater, cinema, or photography—you inevitably convey something that touches people in one way or another.
We can explain everything in plain terms, but wouldn’t expressing it through art be far more impactful?
