Photographers know that two elements are crucial for photography. One is the perspective, and the other is the light. With perspective, you can tell a story very effectively or emphasize the subject you want to highlight. The same perspective, however, can have different effects and evoke different feelings in your composition when combined with various lighting.
For example, this is a composition I created with the materials in my school studio, and it is a work I saw through different lighting effects. There are no colored lights here. In these photos, we can see the effects of softening the white light, sharpening the shadows, and increasing or decreasing the contrast. For these, materials such as honeycomb, dishes, softboxes, funnels, etc., can be used.
